Annual general meeting of Association of Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries AFDA (Puolustus- ja Ilmailuteollisuus PIA ry in Finnish) has accepted NorthBase Oy to its membership. Former members include prominent Finnish companies such as Insta, Huld and Iceye as well as well international companies with presence in Finland like Airbus, Kongsberg and RUAG.
“Being part of the this network of Finnish and international organizations centered around aerospace and security is important for a new company such as NorthBase. Having worked in cyber for more than two decades has shown me that Finnish companies need to know each other and co-operate, and AFDA is the perfect platform for this”, says founder Tommi Rasila from NorthBase.
NorthBase is opening Ground Station as a Service (GSaaS) services from Finland in 2022 as the first private company in Finland.
